Bob Mayer uses his military training and paranormal knowledge to great effect in The Mission. Foo fighters, nuclear explosions, the Qian-Ling Pyramid, aliens on Mars, nazis in South America. You name it - this book has it but Mayer is able to skillfully put all the pieces together into a thrilling novel that literally spans space and human history

The Mission is still enjoyable if you haven't read the other two books in the Area 51 series. We do recommend checking out every novel in the series though - they all have the same combination of action, paranormal lore and ancient alternative history.
